You can check the case status on Maryland Judiciary Case Search

Maryland Judiciary Case Search is a website where you can look up criminal actions and civil lawsuits by inputting a person's name or case number. The link is here:

https://casesearch.courts.state.md.us/casesearch/

It is an important website. You can put in your name to make sure you do not have a pending civil action, criminal charge, or traffic violation. Some people discover there is a warrant because they missed a court date. An attorney can get the warrant recalled. Other people find an unpaid traffic ticket that has lead to a suspension of their driver's license. It is better to find out before you are pulled over for driving on a suspended license so that you can resolve the issue.

You can look up someone you have started dating. You may find multiple criminal charges or judgments against them. It would be better to find out sooner rather than later.

You may remember criminal charges from decades ago. Many of these can be expunged. You may want to see if these old charges can be removed from your record.

Employers look up prospective employees on Maryland Judiciary Case Search. You should too. You can clean up your record to the extent it is possible.

Not all charged appear on Maryland Judiciary Case Search. Some warrants do not appear and anything expunged will not appear. Charges that have resulted in a nolle prossequi will not appear. Still, it is a great resource for many different things and it is free to use.
